One world..

We're living in an age where countries and cultures are colliding. Globalisation, they call it. I'll leave it to the intellectuals to thrash out the advantages, disadvantages, blah, blah, and give my own opinions. And a fine set of 'em I do have.. First of all, the world's a beeeautiful place, and each country has her own charm and attraction. I love visiting various spots on God's green earth (I've been lucky enough to have seen a few), but one thing I've always noticed is that, about a week into the trips, I start getting homesick. I miss the beautiful weather, the hustle and bustle, the earthiness that my homeland possesses. It's as though the scent, the colours and the soul of that city are intermingled with my lifeblood. It's not a glamourous place. It's not even too tourist-y. Nevertheless, there's something that captures your heart and holds fast. Beginning blogging belatedly

Took me long enough to join the blogging bandwagon, but finally, I'm on it! Or something like that. What kept me away from it so long is the slight uneasiness at having to share everything I type- bloopers, brain-freezes, blips, bimbo-moments, younameit- with the rest of whoever else is loitering around in webspace. But right now, with the nice, cool rain beating a tattoo outside my window, with my physics text opened at the chapter our teacher's gonna test us on tomorrow somewhere on my bed, and my whole being totally, annoyingly jumpy and juiced up, I feel like blogging. So, God help me, and whoever's brave enough to read this. That's elaborate enough for a first post. Aardra
